Small Metal Bookends

A bookend looks small, but if it is not made well, it will fall. Our small metal bookends use low carbon steel plate, thickness 0.5 mm. Height is 15 cm, width is 10 cm. Surface is electrostatic spray coating in black or silver. Load capacity: tested to hold 5 kg of books. 5 kg means about 30 normal textbooks. You put the bookend on the shelf, lean books against it. It does not slide forward or fall backward. Because we added anti-slip pads at the bottom. Our R&D team specially added these pads.

Quality checks for the small metal bookends have four steps. Step 1: check steel thickness with a gauge. Randomly pick 10 pieces. Each must be 0.5 mm. Step 2: check bending angle. The L-shape must be 90 degrees, error ±1 degree. Step 3: check coating thickness. Standard 60-80 microns, measured with a film gauge. Step 4: check anti-slip pads. Try to pull them off. Only pass if they stay. These steps happen every day. We accept third-party inspection. Packing is 2 pieces per bag, then into cartons, then pallets.
